A woman longs for a man who knows how to please her, who can be there when she needs him most. The part you are playing is to be her rock and knight in shining armor, who can gallantly sweep her off her feet and take her to the royal ball, lavishing her with fun, excitement and ringing laughter.
You need to be a listener with her. Women, as a rule, are biologically bred to communicate, and she likes hearing the sound of her voice. There are various forms of communication that you need to be familiar with in order to obtain emotional intimacy with her.
A. There is frivolous communication, which is making small talk.
B. There is factual communication, which is getting into the logic stage.
C. There is the feeling level, which is the emotional stage.
D. There is the freedom level, which respects each other as an individual.
When you first met her you broke the ice with her by making small talk called the frivolous level. As you got to know each other better you developed communication into a logic or liking stage which is the factual level. Then, as you romanced her on dates, she became emotionally involved with you which is the feeling level. After you overcame the barriers and obstacles of meeting her family and friends, you became accepted and liked by those close to her. You earned her respect, which is the freedom level.
These four stages of communication are necessary in order to become her companion, mate and confidant. A very high percentage of men fail miserably when they get to step C, the feeling level, which is the emotional stage. Many men have been reared not to be in touch with their feelings. They have become emotionally unavailable for the longest time. They go by the wayside with no real women in their life. To become emotionally available you have to swallow your manly pride and humble yourself. You need to have an open mind and make the effort to become in touch with your feelings and be able to express your feelings in a very intimate way with her.
